Ever wish you could bottle that fresh-from-the-orchard taste? Now you can, with this fantastic apple booch recipe. We love that it calls for both an apple and apple cider because it really infuses the booch with so much deep apple flavor. Plus, the grated ginger and cinnamon sticks bring the perfect level of spice.
Makes about 10 16 oz bottles of kombucha
Add apple cider, apple, ginger, and apple stick to a saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for 25 to 35 minutes until mixture reduces by half. Stir in maple syrup and remove from heat. Let cool completely before transferring the mixture to freshly brewed kombucha. For a 16 ounce bottle, use about 2 TBSP of final mixture.
