Few things are more refreshing than a Summer Shandy, usually made by combining beer and lemonade or some other fruit-based drink. But if you want to take it up a notch, try swapping out the lemonade for some kombucha. The beer and booch combo is so good you're going to surprise yourself. And what's even better, you're doing something good for that gut of yours with every sip.
To make a Kombucha Shandy you can really use any flavored kombucha with any kind of beer, but we've really been enjoying super hoppy citrus beers, like the Sculpin Grapefruit from Ballast Point paired with a pineapple kombucha. It's citrus perfection! If you're a fan of lighter beers, try pairing a lager with a ginger booch. And heavier stouts and porters go really well with raspberry kombucha.
Combine kombucha and beer, serve in a chilled mug, and enjoy!
