Few things are more refreshing than the combination of lemon and basil, especially on a hot summer day. And when added to kombucha, you really get an invigorating brew.
Makes 1 16 oz bottle of kombucha
Add ingredients to a 16 oz bottle, seal tightly, and store at room temperature for 2-4 days. If your brew doesn’t seem like it’s gaining carbonation after 2 days, add 1 tsp of sugar to each bottle and let sit for another 2 days. When kombucha is flavored and fizzy enough, transfer to the fridge. Chill, strain, and enjoy!
